WELL DONE! KCABJ HONORS ANITA PARRAN

The Kansas City Association of Black Journalists (KCABJ) honored KC-AWC's Anita Parran with its Lifetime Achievement Award on October 14, 2006. Parran, who recently received AWC's national Headliner Award*, is a past president of both KCABJ and KC-AWC and associate state director for public affairs with AARP for Missouri.

The award was part of KCABJ's 25th anniversary celebration.
