KCK LIBRARY FEATURES PAINTINGS BY CHRISTINE RUPERT

Paintings by Christine Rupert, a member of the GKC-AWC, are on exhibit at the Kansas City, Kans., West Wyandotte Branch Library through November 28. Please visit to enjoy Christine's artwork titled "Beauty and the World Around Us."

This is not the first time she has earned recognition of her talent. Several of her pieces received blue ribbons in the 2006 Wyandotte County Fair. She has contributed her work to various chapter events.

The library is proud to feature the works of local and regional artists at each location. Exhibits change monthly and may include artists' receptions, gallery talks, lectures, demonstrations of technique, and book talks promoting areas of the fine arts collection. All exhibits are free and open to the public during regular library hours.
