HOW TO JOIN
Our Greater Kansas City AWC chapter welcomes new members. For information on how to join, contact Membership Vice President Antisha Anderson or go to the national AWC Web site:
Members are required to have two years of professional communications experience. They join both the national organization and the local chapter. The new member, national application fee is $50. Please visit the national site for annual dues for various Professional Communicators. There are also student membership rates. The additional local chapter dues are $30 annually for Professional members, and $20 for Collegiates/New Graduates.
Members receive monthly chapter news, several national AWC publications and a national membership directory on the Internet at www.womcom.org. Members also receive a printed chapter membership directory and e-mail notices of job openings. Monthly programs provide opportunities for education and networking.
